There’s something incredibly special about a rooftop wedding at The Partridge Inn overlooking the city of Augusta—especially when it happens on Valentine’s Day.
This intimate winter wedding at The Partridge Inn in Augusta, GA felt like the perfect blend of historic elegance and modern romance. With warm February sunshine, golden hour views, and heartfelt vows exchanged high above the city, the entire day felt timeless.
As an Augusta wedding photographer, weddings like this are a reminder that sometimes the most magical celebrations are the ones that keep things simple, meaningful, and focused on the moments that matter most.

The bride began her morning in the Presidential Bridal Suite at The Partridge Inn, which is easily one of the most beautiful getting-ready spaces in Augusta.
The suite has large windows that flood the room with natural light, creating the most flattering, soft glow for bridal portraits and detail photos.
From a photographer’s perspective, this lighting is a dream. The natural window light highlights every detail—from the delicate lace of the dress to the quiet anticipation before the ceremony.
Just outside the suite is the Garden Terrace, which quickly became one of my favorite portrait spots of the day. It offers a peaceful, tucked-away location for photos while still being steps away from the bridal suite.

The ceremony took place on the rooftop of The Partridge Inn, one of the most iconic ceremony locations in Augusta.
With sweeping views of the city skyline and a gentle winter breeze in the air, the setting felt both intimate and unforgettable at this wedding at The Partridge Inn.
What made the ceremony especially meaningful were the vows. Hearing the couple speak heartfelt promises to one another while the sun began to set behind Augusta created one of those moments where time seems to slow down.
As a photographer, those emotional moments paired with the rooftop backdrop made for some truly powerful images.

Because this wedding took place on February 14th, sunset happened earlier in the evening.
Golden hour arrived around 5 PM, and the rooftop at The Partridge Inn provided the perfect vantage point to capture that warm glow over Augusta.
One of the best photography spots for a wedding at The Partridge Inn is on the rooftop is the corner overlooking the city, where the light wraps beautifully around couples and creates the most romantic portraits.
This is a tip I often give couples planning a wedding here:
